What could be more comforting than a hot homemade soup? In this cooler weather, we've got a delicious, hearty soup recipe that's sure to satisfy your hunger. Make a big batch for an invigorating meal on hand all winter long! Enjoy your meal!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 g black-eyed peas*, black bean
  • 100 g of chickpeas*.
  • 100 g of green split peas*.
  • 100 g of yellow split peas*.
  • 5 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • 6 cups of broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 2 tbsp. walnut oil Maison Orphée
  • Salt and pepper to taste

* Don't hesitate to use the legumes of your choice

 

PREPARATION

  1. Soak beans and chickpeas in water for 24 hours.
  2. Rinse and place in a saucepan with the other ingredients, except oil and salt.
  3. Cook for 2h30.
  4. Add water if necessary.
  5. When the soup is ready, add salt, pepper and walnut oil.
  6. Enjoy!
