Shrimp and basil linguine

Preparation time: 20 minutes

This recipe is sure to please anyone who loves a good pasta dish. The freshness of our basil olive oil combined with the sea flavours of the shrimp create an exquisite dish to try!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of linguine
  • ¼ cup of olive oil with basil Maison Orphée
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 lb of shrimp
  • Juice and zest of one lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Basil leaves, for decoration

 

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.
  2. In a frying pan, slowly cook the olive oil (keep 1 tbsp. aside). Add garlic.
  3. Then add the shrimp and lemon zest. Mix well. Add lemon juice.
  4. Cook for one minute or until shrimp are pink and cooked.
  5. Place linguine in a serving bowl and toss with remaining basil olive oil.
  6. Add the shrimp mixture and mix well.
  7. Decorate with a basil leaf. Serve.
