Salmon and spinach canapés

To get an evening with friends or family off to a great start, we've come up with a recipe that's sure to whet their appetites: smoked salmon and grilled spinach canapés to share. Our turmeric yellow mustard and lemon olive oil are the key ingredients for a remarkable combination of flavours.

Preparation

  1. Brush bread slices with lemon olive oil and toast in oven.
  2. Mix mustard, dill and honey. Add to toasted bread slices.
  3. Add the slices of smoked salmon and brush with a little olive oil.
  4. Remove stems from spinach leaves. Clean leaves and dry. In a bowl, mix with remaining olive oil, salt and pepper.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and broil for 2 minutes.
  6. Place the grilled spinach leaves on top of the salmon. Serve.
