Featuring our Dijon Mustard and Fine Sea Salt, here is a decadent burger recipe presented by Dom Cooks. The thing that makes it a true gourmet delight? The honey-lemon sauce that balances the salty taste of the feta cheese. Whether you use lamb, beef, pork or a veggie patty, you'll love this dish!

INGREDIENTS

For the sauce:

PREPARATION

  1. If grilling on the BBQ, preheat on high. Otherwise, use a cast iron or steel pan on the stovetop.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the lamb, extra virgin olive oil, mint, sea salt and pepper. Do not overmix. Separate the mixture into four equal patties.
  3. Start grilling the patties by placing them on the grill. Add Dijon mustard with a knife or brush on each patty.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, making sure to get a nice caramelization. Once turned over, lower the heat and add the cheese. Let melt and set aside.
  5. Prepare the sauce. In a small food processor or hand blender, combine feta cheese, lemon juice, honey, Dijon mustard, extra virgin olive oil, mint, salt, pepper and water. The sauce should be smooth and creamy. If the texture is too thick, add more water.
  6. Grill the buns on the barbecue - be careful not to burn them.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the sauce on each bun, the lamb patty on top, followed by the tomato and arugula. Important: there is nothing wrong with eating two at once!!!
