Mushroom and sesame fricassee

Here is an ideal recipe for colder weather. Our Virgin Toasted Sesame Oil will fill your kitchen with its delicious aroma. Mixed with mushrooms and peas, it's a delicious, comforting and nutritious combination that you're sure to love as much as we do!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup virgin toasted sesame oil Maison Orphée
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 12 large spinach leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen peas
  • 2 cups of bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp. tamari
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger

Preparation

  1. Lightly toast the sesame seeds and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a skillet and sauté garlic and mushrooms for 2 minutes.
  3. Add peas, spinach and bean sprouts. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the remaining oil, tamari, lemon juice and ginger. Cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
