It all starts with a rigorous selection of farmers and supply partners, which includes visits to the countries of origin to develop a thorough knowledge of their production processes. 

In addition, we perform several tests regarding GMOs, yeasts and molds. In addition, the cleanliness of our equipment, the training of our teams and the temperature control during oil production contribute to the quality of our products.

As for olive oil, Maison Orphée has developed extensive expertise in the selection of olives that originate from Spain and Argentina, creating flavour profiles that honour the promise of extra virgin olive oil that meets exacting standards. Quality control is assured by an expert tasting panel trained at New York's International Culinary Center.

For our seed oils, our master oil makers have developed considerable knowledge in cold-pressing—at low speeds and with patience. We only use the best raw materials to create oils that are infused with unequalled natural properties: aromas, flavours and nutrients. 

This same respectful philosophy applies to the production of our cider vinegar, organic mustards, vinaigrette-marinades, and fresh mayonnaises. Our mission is to offer consumers products with a short list of superior ingredients without ever compromising taste.
