Walnut and ricotta pasta, a quick and creamy, absolutely delicious change from the traditional spaghetti. Amazingly delicious walnut and ricotta pasta recipe. Change things up and try this creamy recipe.

Walnut and ricotta pasta

Preparation: 20 minutes
Yield : 4 portions

Eating pasta is always a pleasure for the whole family. Pasta tends to be served with a delicious tomato sauce. But you know us, we like to offer equally delicious alternatives because we believe that the key to a balanced diet is to diversify your meals!

Ingredients:

  • 500 g whole wheat linguini (or other choice of pasta or gluten-free)

  • 475 g ricotta cheese
  • 4 large handfuls of basil leaves (1 full bunch), chopped
  • Zest and juice of one lemon
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL)virgin canola oil Maison Orphée
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL)garlic olive oil Maison Orphée
  • 1 tbsp. crushed chili flakes
  • Fleur de sel Maison Orphée and fresh pepper to taste
  • 1 cup roasted walnuts, chopped
  • Some greens for decoration (optional)

Preparation:

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente or according to manufacturer's directions.

In a bowl, mix the ricotta and chopped basil, lemon zest, the canola and garlic oils, along with the fleur de sel and pepper.

Drain the pasta and add to the ricotta mix in the serving dish. Mix well.

Sprinkle with the walnuts, lemon juice and enjoy!
