From June 5 to 11, celebrate the art of eating well... one salad at a time!
Salad lovers, rejoice! Maison Orphée, in collaboration with the Mouvement J'aime les fruits et légumes ,the very first 100% Salad Week is happening soon! OMG!
Why Salad Week?
We celebrate poutine, burgers and macaroni and cheese, and while we love these classics too, we thought it was high time to celebrate a dish that's as healthy as it is tasty!
With an abundance of seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs that smell like heaven, and homemade oils, condiments and other salad toppings, it's never been easier to make salads that feature local ingredients, are nutritious and just as satisfying in their own way!
How does it work?
From June 5 to 11, fifty of your favourite content creators will develop and post 100% salad content online with the keywords #semainedelasalade and #saladweek.
These creators have all received a box containing tasty Quebec products for preparing gourmet salads.

As a bonus, nutritionist Julie DesGroseilliers has prepared 5 videos to inspire you to prepare salads that are as fresh as they are delicious. Maison Orphée also has a recipe up our sleeves: a warm asparagus salad with crispy bacon developed in collaboration with Science + Fourchette, which is also concocting a recipe to celebrate the event. You can participate too!
Budding foodies and long-time epicureans can actively participate in the first Salad Week in two ways:
- Enter the "Win your salad kit" contest on the Maison Orphée Facebook page. It's easy: all you have to do is share your favorite salad ingredient in the comments of the contest post, between June 1 and 11. A winner will be drawn at random on June 12 at noon from all valid entries.
You could win a salad kit worth $200, containing products given to the 50 Salad Week creators to fuel their creativity, and a Gen V gift certificate to buy fresh vegetables. All delivered right to your door! - By posting pics of your creations on social media with the keywords #semaineelasalade #saladweek. On June 12, we will select the 4 most gourmet photos and share them in a special newsletter. The creators will all receive a $50 gift card to get their hands on great products in our online store.
