Festive aperitif: Cider vinegar cocktail (or mocktail)

To welcome your guests and whet their appetite, here is a cocktail recipe based on a simple ingredient with a bit of pep: our cider vinegar! Nothing better to start the evening off right.

Place a few ice cubes in a glass. Pour in rum, cider vinegar, ginger syrupand finally, carbonated water. For a non-alcoholic version, we suggest you replace the rum with juice of your choice. Stir the mixture and garnish with a mint leaf. And there you have it, a delicious cocktail in a jiffy!

Starter to share: Homemade hummus with seasonal vegetables

Now, food! What could be better than sharing a good fresh hummus with your loved ones? Here is an easy recipe that will certainly please your guests!

Take a can of chickpeas and pulse in a food processor until pureed. Add lemon juice, water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, tahini, garlic and seasonings to taste. Present your hummus in a beautiful soup plate and enhance with garlic olive oil and seasonal vegetables. And there you have it, a delicious starter to share!

This dish can be enjoyed with whatever you already have on hand: good vegetables, chips, fresh bread, naan bread, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Wow! appetizer: Bruschettas two ways

Because bruschetta is the undisputed queen of shared dishes, let's continue with two recipes inspired by seasonal flavors.

Summer is in full swing? Go for the beautiful, juicy tomatoes of the moment. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, garlic and fresh herbs. Add the mixture on toasted croutons and finish with a nice drizzle of of Basil Olive Oil. And there you have it, delicious and refreshing bruschette!

Cooler season? Replace the tomatoes with grilled mushrooms. Pan fry them with olive oil, garlic and green onions. Garnish the croutons with the mixture, add fresh herbs and finish with a drizzle of Hazelnut oil. And that's it! A nice and comforting starter.
